HGL Group Hungary and iconic Hungarian rock band Tankcsapda have launched a one-year collaboration, under which HGL will manage the band’s complete concert logistics. This goes far beyond simply transporting instruments from point A to point B – every element essential to a Tankcsapda concert, from instruments to technical equipment, is moved across the globe with reliable support, precise planning, and international expertise.
The partnership ensures that wherever the band performs, the logistical foundation is seamless and fully taken care of.
The first truly spectacular chapter of this collaboration is connected to the Budapest–Bamako Rally. Tankcsapda will drive their own car across Africa and, after covering vast distances, will perform a special concert on February 25, 2026, in the city of Dakhla for rally participants, locals, and traveling Hungarian fans. This is not a typical domestic or European show; it is an event held thousands of kilometres from Hungary, in the heart of the desert.
HGL will transport the full range of stage and sound equipment required for the performance to Africa. In this case, the operation goes far beyond traditional shipping: the journey of the equipment demands meticulous preparation, precise timing, and coordination across multiple countries. Every segment of the transport, border crossing, and local condition must be synchronized, as the success of the concert depends on every single element arriving exactly when and where it’s needed.
The story does not end with the performance. Once the team reaches the rally’s finish line in Freetown, HGL will ensure the band’s vehicle is safely transported back to Hungary, completing this extreme yet carefully orchestrated mission — a clear demonstration of HGL’s ability to handle extraordinary and complex challenges with professionalism and precision.
What makes this partnership even more special is that HGL Group Hungary, as a company, has long been a dedicated fan of Tankcsapda. For HGL, this collaboration is not only a professional honor but also a personal one. We wish the band every success and a truly unforgettable concert in Dakhla, a performance that will stand as another testament to the fact that at HGL, nothing is impossible.
