The HGL truck rolled into Dakhla as the sun began to glow faintly over the Atlantic. After crossing highways, ferries, and long stretches of desert, it arrived with a special delivery: the entire set of broadcast equipment for Bochkor Gábor and his team’s morning show, “Retró Rádió.”
By the time the first light hit the water, the crew was already on air. Bochkor’s voice carried through the speakers, cheerful and confident: “Good morning from the edge of the Sahara!”
For HGL, it was just another delivery. For everyone listening back home, it was a morning show that felt alive with sand, sea, and something unforgettable in the air.
