The European Fishing Tackle Trade Exhibition ( EFTTEX ) is the largest “B2B” fishing trade exhibition in Europe, an exclusive event for angling industry traders, wholesalers and manufacturers and fish-mad riverside addicts generally.

The EFTTEX show has been held at a different location every year since 1982 and attracts the most well-known brands, with companies, visitors and press attending from all over the world. Due to the COVID pandemic and the economic and social situation in the world, the event had been canceled for the past three years, making this year’s event on June 15-17 in Budapest particularly important for the organizers.

They relied on HGL to promptly arrange the necessary customs clearances for over 1,000 kilograms of vital exhibition materials from the UK. Needless to say, HGL delivered and returned without issue despite the complications caused by BREXIT.
