The MVM Dome stadium was packed to capacity with 18,000 fans in Budapest on the 9th of May. This was the venue which saw the Hungarian National Ice Hockey team take 2 goals back from Canada in the World Championship preliminary tournament. A result of 5 -2 playing against the strongest hockey team in the world certainly counts as a huge win for the Hungarian team!
What was also a huge success was HGL Group’s contribution to the tournament. Faultless movement of the Canadian team’s full equipment set and also all the teams personal effects and luggage in an ultra urgent last minute critical shipment from Toronto to Budapest and then back again, clearing customs into and out of the EU and arranging the air transport required.
